Aleksandra got in touch with music as a teenager taking singing lessons at »scuola 55« in Triest, Italy, and taking violin lessons at Koper music school, Slovenia. At age 12 she started performing on various music events and festivals.

As a teenager she received various awards. She won the festival Melodije morja in sonca (MMS) 3 times: the song »Teh petnajst let« (1997), the song »Mladosti ne dam«(1998), and the song »V tebi se nov dan začne«(2001).

In 2001 she also won the festival Orion with the song »Fant za slovo«, and won the 5th place on festival Slovenska popevka. In 2003 she attended Slovenska popevka again, where her song »V ogledalu srca« received an award for the best arrangement. She also attended festival Hit with her song »Je res«.

Since 2005 she has regularly performed as a back vocalist on Festival EMA – Slovenian selection for Eurovision.

Aleksandra is studying at Kaernten Landeskonservatorium in Klagenfurt, Austria, where she already finished her BFA jazz sining degree (mentor: Caroline de Rooij) and is now finishing IGP (Educational degree) – mentors: Caroline De Rooij and Carole Alston-Bukowski.

She has attended various workshop during her regular studies, where she studied with: Gwen Hughes, Miles Griffith, Judy Niemack, David Friesen, and Joerg Seidel. She also attended »Veneto Jazz Bassano del Grappa Workshop« in Italy.

Neisha, Hannah Mancini, Anika Horvat, Danilo Kocjančič, Drago Mislej Mef, Marino Legovič, Tinkara Kovač, Lara Baruca, Zablujena generacija, Big foot mama, Katja Koren, Rudi Bučar, Teo Collori, Tomi Purič, Goran Rukavina, Erik Marenče, are some artists and groups she has worked with in the past.

She is a regular band member of Xequtifz, Zmelkoow, and Xazz.
